- Questions: What is the downtime to repair the tool?

- Answers: Generally, we repair your tool within 48 hours. Your tool is usually only in the workshop for 48 working hours once we have received it in our service center.

- Questions: If lack of spare parts, what is the ETA for repair?

- Answers: ETA date will be update to you of receiving of the parts.Once spare parts we receive, we will complete repair within 48 hours (working hours).

- Questions: What does Makita Warranty cover?

- Answers: Free replacement of manufacturer’s defective parts (except for consumables eg. Carbon Brush or accessories). Broken parts due to “Mishandle” or “Misuse” causing overload will not be covered by the warranty.

- Questions: What is the warranty period for a repaired unit?

- Answers: You will receive a 3 working days warranty on all repaired or replaced parts.

- Questions: What is the repair service fee?

- Answers:

  1. 1) General Tool will be $15 (Excluding Parts).
  2. 2) Engine Tool will be $20 (Excluding Parts).
  3. 3) Diagnostics & Checking (FOC)
  4. 4) Cancelled without repair (FOC)
